Brief info

Trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and clogging
at New Albany Ballet and The Studio for Dance. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, Majoring in Dance and Choreography, in the Spring of 2020. Haskell, as a dancer, has performed with The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, the recording artist EBEN. collaborated with Ching-I Bigelow and the Institute for Contemporary Art, Noelani Corey, Elsie Neilson, Megan Liverman, Kate Succio, Julia Turgeon, and, while in Australia, Brianna Kell. She also studied under choreographers such as Lucy Guerin, Alice Holland, Jo Lloyd, Helene Phillips and Gigi Torres. Choreographically, Haskell has had pieces chosen, alongside professional pieces, for the 2019 and 2020 VCUDance NOW and VCU’s 2019 Salon . In the Fall of 2018 and Spring of 2020, for VCU’s Musical Theatre Department, Haskell assisted in choreographing alongside Kikau Alvaro and was offered to be a “Swing” for one of the shows. She is currently working on the film version of one of her dances, So It Goes , after the live show was cancelled. Haskell is now teaching at Queen City Dance Academy and is very grateful for the shared creativity and growth she experiences everyday.
