ADULT CLASSES

Ages: 16+


Queen City Dance Academy offers recreational and competitive classes. High quality of instruction is integral to our mission of providing the best dance education for dancers of all ages. Classes for all levels are offered where you can find the right fit for you. QCDA ensures proper technique with a dose of fun!

Dancers can join our classes any time of the year. With 4 studios and highly trained teachers, we are ready to help you achieve your goals.

Class Descriptions

ADULT CLASSES

Zumba Dance
The Ultimate Dance Fitness Party! Fun Latin based rhythms fused with popular music to move and groove.  Great Cardio Workout!


Adult Ballet

Description: We will teach the class to the level of the dancer/s. If you have experience or none at all, we want you to feel comfortable learning this incredible discipline of dance. 


Attire: please wear comfortable, form fitting attire. Leotard and tights are optional. Preferably have hair pulled back. Ballet shoes


Punch card system which gives flexibility for busy schedules


Adult Jazz

Description: Enjoy moving to rhythms and beats. Learn isolations, increase flexibility, increase strength. Learn dance combinations mixed with kicks, turns and leaps. We will teach the class to the level of the dancer/s in attendance. 


Attire: Comfortable form fitting clothes. Jazz shoes


Punch card system gives flexibility for busy schedules.


Adult Tap

Description: Enjoy learning this incredible style of dance by moving your feet to the beat. Engage with being the percussionist of the music. Taught to the level of the students in attendance. 


Attire: Comfortable form fitting clothes. Tap shoes


Strong Nation

Bodyweight fitness class in sync with the music. Inspiring and uplifting HIIT overall fitness workout! Great for cross training and injury prevention!
